Holiday season is....

...officially over.

We have accomplished a lot on the 2nd day of the new year. Miles has made the transition to the car toddler bed right before nap time. It took over an hour span for him to finally fall asleep in his new bed. We started taking down the Christmas decorations. I decided to rearrange the boys playroom and keep the table train set in the living room, at least for now. As I was doing my chores I began to think of resolutions:

Drink more water, less soft drinks

Eat more healthy, less fast food

Exercise more, less on my ass

Okay, who am I fooling? That list is every year! My main goal is my family. And to be the best mom I can be for the boys. They both continue to amaze me everyday with their unique personalities. It can be challenging, but it makes for a fun ride with a supporting husband and a very loving father to our boys.

So, here is to you and your loved ones..... Have an awesome year!

Famous Footwear dot com

Just wanted to mention my awesome experience at the affordable shoe store Famous Footwear. I used the "reserve shoe" option on line to place a hold until I could make in to the store. Y'see, I have two boys under the age of three. They don't allow me to have a decent shopping experience and apparently I can not just drop them off at a playground by themselves{sarcasm}. So I have been doing a lot of shopping on the internet, here comes in Famous Footwear. I found a pair of high heel shoes I adore. I reserved them on line and within an hour I got a confirmation email.... they were waiting for me at the store. Included in the email was a five dollar coupon for using the "reserve shoe" option. Not only are the shoes on sale but I got an additional coupon. Yay! I loaded up the kids (took at least 25 minutes) in the car and headed to the store. Once I arrived to the store (took at least 15 minutes to get the kids out of the car). I enter the store and was greeted with a smile. I told the sales clerk I reserved a pair of shoes. Guess what? They were behind the counter ready for me to try them on. And perfecto, they fit. I was in and out of the store within ten minutes. No time for the boys to get fussy. Whoo-Hoo! Oh, one more thing.. I would advise for anyone to sign up for their rewards card.
